Gubernur Sumsel Herman Deru menerima piagam penghargaan capaian opini Wajar Tanpa Pengecualian (WTP) dari Kementerian Keuangan RI atas Laporan Keuangan Pemerintah Daerah (LKPD) Provinsi Sumsel Tahun 2019, serta plakat penghargaan setelah lima tahun berturut-turut meraih WTP.
Penghargaan itu diserahkan langsung oleh Kepala Kantor Wilayah Dirjen Perbendaharaan Kementerian Keuangan Republik Indonesia Provinsi Sumsel di Ruang Rapat Gubernur, Senin (2/10/20).
Herman Deru mengatakan, Pemprov Sumsel, jajarannya dan masyarakat, sangat bersyukur atas prestasi itu. Namun demikian menurutnya, piala sebenarnya bukanlah target utama.
”Alhamdulillah mewakili masyarakat Sumsel dan segenap jajaran saya sangat berterima kasih sekali. Sebenarnya orientasi kita bukan hanya piala, tapi lebih kepada pelayanan ke masyarakat.
